With its challenging and exhilarating landscapes, the stage locations of Saronsberg (Tulbagh), Worcester  and Oak Valley  (Elgin Valley) await the most prestigious mountain bike stage race in the world, before riders again finish at the Lourensford Wine Estate. Cape Epic route

A particular challenge will be the switch from -25C Winnipeg weather to the +30C conditions of South Africa. Being in top shape at the end of their competitive season, the South Africans will also provide a real challenge.
